Christmas is over, New Year is over, and more importantly, so is that awful period until twelfth night when you don’t know what day or the week it is and when to put the bins out!
I’m back at work – washing lots of locks and curls in preparation for use in wraps and throws and dyeing them for a whole variety of uses.
As it’s the New Year why not get creative – you’ve probably wanted to for ages, well now’s the time to attend a full-day workshop! The weather is so miserable, but there’s no lack of colour inside my riverside studio. You’ll leave with three samplers of your work plus a head full of colourful memories and inspiration for your next project. There won’t be a price rise this year from the £75 charge – which includes a delicious lunch - so it’s excellent value for money. Contact me to arrange a suitable date for us all and note that I’m already taking bookings into April as I’ll be heading to India during March with a small group tour – I and my fellow travellers are so excited!
Workshops can be arranged for other occasions for up to 8 attendees: birthday parties (great for children), hen-parties (make pink hearts for banners and garlands with a glass or two of prosecco), or how about a Cambrian mountain experience, staying locally for a weekend complete with cosy log fires and fabulous felt-making and walking.
Alternatively, I can travel to your house or group for a workshop – I’ll bring materials, you provide tables and water.
Please do peruse my website gallery for new feltings – I will be working on new projects over the next few weeks and uploading images. Would you like a felting made especially for you? I’m more than happy to take on a collaboration where we would work together to complete a walling hanging, throw, or drape to suit your surroundings. It will truly be a piece of fabulous felted art.
To make space for new work I shall soon be having a ‘sale’ of all wraps and scarves. There will be a 20% discount for a limited period only and free delivery within the UK. Please take a look at the ‘January Sale’ page on my website for images of all on special offer and contact me for payment details.
Nasty weather is forecast for the next few days, so stay warm and safe and I look forward to seeing you soon.
